Since september 2007, Pastry Chef Christophe Michalak, in partnership with Paule and Gérard Koumetz, has started exporting his delicious talent by opening a very pretty macarons store, appropriately named Paulette - so French…- located near Rodeo Drive, one of the most glamorous streets in the world.

Michalak was contacted after the Beverly Hills gourmand Koumetz couple – with a passion for gastronomy – had discovered him while viewing the French show "Envoyé Spécial" presenting the making of Parisian macarons, one of French patry’s musts. Soon, a strong friendship develops and becomes one of Paulette Macarons best ingredients.
“ Our wish is to make Americans discover macarons such as traditional ones like pistachio, caramel, vanilla or coffee as well as some others with more original flavours such as peach melba, strawberry charlotte, brownie & pecans, blueberry cheese cake … a variety of 20 different flavours”.
